Al Berry, Jr., PT, OCS, ECHM, CAPS

Al is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health Related Professions with a degree in Physical Therapy and an undergraduate focus on Exercise Physiology and Political Science. With over 35 years of experience, Al specializes in orthopedic and geriatric care, focusing on spinal and musculoskeletal dysfunction, as well as the aging-in-place issues for many of his clientele.

He's been board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and is an active member of APTA and AAOMPT.

In 1996, Al served as the home care Coordinator and Assistant Director of a large outpatient practice in western Pennsylvania, where he lectured extensively on musculoskeletal disorders and acute lower back pain. By 2000, he founded a healthcare staffing firm, providing PT/OT rehabilitation services in numerous rehab settings across the mid-Atlantic region.

A certified lobbyist and healthcare policy advocate, Al has built strong relationships with policymakers in Harrisburg and Washington, DC. Since 2020, he earned certifications as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and Executive Certificate in Home Modifications (ECHM), emphasizing his commitment to accessible living solutions.
